After that, you need to complete two more years of specialization in a different field of law. In addition, you need to pass the bar exam set by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

This exam consists of two parts: A written examination and an interview. The written part consists of 200 questions which are divided into four sections: General Studies, Legal History, and Jurisprudence (100 marks), Principles of Law (100 marks), and Constitutional Law (100 marks). The second part consists of an interview with a panel consisting of three judges from different provinces.

The questions cover all areas that you studied during your education, so having studied them will definitely help you pass this part easily!

Legal Experience

There are two ways to become a lawyer. You can either start as an intern or apprentice and then become a lawyer, or you can start your career as a paralegal and then take the bar exam. If you have experience in law, then you may be able to get a job as an attorney. However, if you don’t have any legal experience, it might be difficult to get an entry-level position at a large firm.

Paralegals work closely with attorneys on cases that involve legal issues. They do research, prepare documents, draft contracts and answer questions for attorneys about their cases. Paralegals also file court documents such as motions and writs of habeas corpus (where the person being held in custody requests that their release be ordered).

To become a lawyer in Pakistan, you must be qualified. To qualify for the bar exam, you must have completed a bachelor’s degree in law and have completed at least three years of legal experience. If you have attained a master’s degree in law, that will also count toward your experience requirement.
