Immigration Advocates Network
If you’re looking for an immigration lawyer in the United States, Immigration Advocates Network (IAN) is a nonprofit organization that helps immigrants and their families. The directory has links to more than 1,300 attorneys across the country who specialize in helping people apply for visas at www.ianlawyerfinders.org/.

If you don’t see any attorneys in your area listed on the DOJ website, try searching AILA’s Find a Lawyer service instead. This free service enables users to enter their ZIP code or city and state into its search bar; it will then return results from local lawyers who have agreed to participate in its directory program (called “The Directory”).
How to search for an immigration lawyer with Immigration Advocates Network’s Find Legal Help service
To get started, go to the website and click on the Find Legal Help button at the top of your screen. You will be taken to a page where you can search for an immigration lawyer near you.
In order to find an immigration lawyer, type in your location in the “City” field and hit enter or click on the “Search” button. After that, it will ask you if it’s okay for them (the lawyers) to contact me directly with any questions they have about my case (it’s not necessary). Then fill out all necessary information including contact numbers so they know how we can reach each other during business hours if needed later on down the road!
